At 9:00 AM on October 13th, after 18 hours of intermittent work, a giant butterfly-shaped dome was slowly lifted to a height of 97.4 meters, marking the successful completion of the dome lift for Building No. 1 of the "Sun Hotel·Crystal Plaza" project in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, the world's largest spherical building, constructed by China Fifth Metallurgical Construction Group. The Sun Hotel is a 19-story spherical hotel building, 98.7 meters high and 97.2 meters in diameter. Its arched roof is a single-layer spherical reticulated shell structure with a maximum span of 58.8 meters. Upon completion, it will become the world's largest spherical building.
