The outer dome of the multi-purpose modular small reactor technology demonstration project "Linglong No. 1" of Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant is undergoing hoisting operations. It is understood that "Linglong One" is the world's first onshore commercial multi-purpose modular small pressurized water reactor to be constructed. It is another major achievement of my country National Nuclear Corporation's independent innovation in nuclear power after "Hualong One". "Linglong One" is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026, with an annual power generation capacity of up to 1 billion kilowatt hours, which can meet the electricity needs of 526,000 households in Hainan Province. All the stainless steel plates used for the internal components of the "Linglong No. 1" small nuclear reactor are provided by our company.
